Power Add-on 2 for Ho’oponopono: I Let You Go

In the introduction to this short series, we looked at the first simple add-on one might make to boost the power of Ho’oponopono: “I forgive us freely.” In so many situations, without adding something like that, the practice can seem, to me, much like an old Catholic indoctrination “prayer” I remember sitting through as a child for 6 days every week at Mass, saying this out loud together as we pounded our chests three times: “Through my fault, through my fault, through my most grevious fault.” . (Grevious, according to Webster:  causing great sadness, suffering, or pain : very serious or severe.) . It took me a long time to understand that this was not simply an acceptance of responsibility but an affirmation of unworthiness and guilt, even a disavowal of our loving nature. Making use of the add-on to it can be empowering in some situtations. . This brings to mind another spiritual energy-sucking line that was included in every Mass: ““Lord, I am not worthy, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.”  If one asks for forgiveness and does not think they are worthy of it, then why put yourself at the mercy of anyone–or any deity—in asking for it? . Maybe just forgive yourself—and anyone else you have found offensive.  Maybe even your god. . The second suggested add-on for your consideration:...

Situational Ho’oponopono Power Add-Ons

There is a wonderful way born in Hawaii called ho’oponopono that is healing and accelerating of our true power. All by itself, it is wonderful to practice it.  While I have great appreciation for it in its original, simple form, I encourage you to experiment and play with it, letting it work for you in your own way.  Now, in these times of rapidly accelerating change, there are many situations in which adding a short line or two can greatly expand the power of using this short practice. You can express it to another who may have been offended at something you did or said.  You can express it alone,  or send the energy or prayer outside yourself to the world.  The key to its power is feeling it: truly meaning what you are saying. . The core of it is a simple set of just four lines: . I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. . As beautiful as it is just like that, there might be some short add-ons to it that, in some situations, greatly expand its power to heal and to strengthen oneself spiritually.  Sometimes—often now—there are at least a couple of simple ways, as I see it, of adding power to ho’oponopono that can be significant in the spiritual evolution of humanity, the only evolution that truly matters. A caveat: If...

Awakening Facilitation: What It Is and Why I Offer It

In order to appreciate the heart of what is offered here during these times of massive change and challenge, consider these four lines from Albert Einstein: The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it. We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them. The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. . If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough. ********** When you see this icon      it is suggested that read the previous sentence again, close your eyes, quiet your mind and notice how you feel. Presented as your equal, no matter who you are: . Friends, my intent here is to offer ideas that may appear to be contrary to the standard mindsets of humanity in the so-called civilized world.  My motivation in the work I do, in a nutshell, is to be of service to humanity and to accelerate my awakening. . There are many paths to awakening oneself. Only a small percentage of us are now ready and wired for receptivity to what is expressed here. The vast majority are still too caught up in anger, overwhelm, depression or other habitual response to be open to what is here.  Some are more ready now to see that the ways...

The New Age is an Old Cage

What follows here may sound as ridiculous to you as the idea might have to someone 3,000 years ago when told that the Earth was not flat.  People had to go vast distances in exploring their outer world, and guys like Aristotle had to show up before we came to know that the Earth was basically a globe.  To understand your deep truth about what we will explore here requires the courage of inner exploration. Recently, I have shared with friends my perspective on why the New Age Movement has been suffocating the evolution of humanity. The response has been generally the same, even with some that I see as rather conscious people: “Why go negative? Why not tell people why your stuff is worth a look rather than disrespecting something else?” Here is why I look at the New Age as a drain on collective consciousness, and why I feel inspired to share these ideas with those who are receptive. There are two central concepts around which the New Age Movement has been built: (1) Be here now. (2) Focus on what you need and want These directives are in diametric opposition to each other. This fits in with the concepts that George Orwell brought to light in books such as 1984: double speak or double-think. The self-contradicting central ideas of the New Age also are reflected the oxymoronic nature of the Christian bible....
